Information

This document is based on Porsche Technical Bulletin 8813 dated June 10, 1988.

The o-rings used on both nozzles of the normally-aspirated car oil cooler element and on the connection pipe of the turbocharged car oil thermostat/filter housing were replaced by a new-style o-ring. The new-style o-rings are green; the old-style o-rings are red.

When replacing oil cooler seals, only the new green-style o-rings should be installed.

Part number for new-style o-rings: 999 707 043 40
