This is an R12 system, so handle the refrigerant only with proper recovery equipment. Pressures switch between bar and psi and torques between N·m and ft·lb.

944 Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) — Service, Sensors & Torques

Service data for the optional Bosch three-channel ABS (M593) fitted to the 944, 944 S and 944 Turbo — the system layout, the wheel-speed sensors and their fixed (non-adjustable) air gap, hydraulic-unit and relay service notes, the bleeding rule, and every ABS-specific tightening torque the factory states. The sensor air gap is a design feature and is not set on the car; bleeding follows the same procedure as a car without ABS.
